ULCC Workday Pics!

Here are some of my favorite photos from our work days at Ukukhanya! If you want to see all of the photos from the day you can click on the photo stream on the right. It will take you to my photo album for the entire year. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite pictures.

All the paint... Every drip was donated!
These boys visit the life care center almost everyday! They joined in on the workday!

Making and moving the NEW tunnel garden!

To update you briefly, so much was accomplished in our three work day at the Center. You will read more about our times together in my prayer letter that will be sent out later this week, but just to quickly update you.

In our first visit fifteen students joined us! We finished painting the sanctuary and 5 rooms on the right side of the center. We help build the bathroom and knocked out windows.

In our second visit 24 students joined us! In 5 hours time we polished all the floors in the painted rooms, replaced the broken windows, and built a new tunnel garden. It was a huge day for the center!

In our last visit over 30 students joined us! We gutted the kitchen and finished nearly all of the painting for the entire center. Almost every wall has been painted in the last three weeks! The remaining rooms were finished and furniture was placed in the rooms. We cleaned everything and got the center ready for its opening day!

ULCC can open because the students at UKZN gave up three Saturdays to ensure the center will open. On top of their hard work several students have donated clothing and food to the center.

Its been amazing to see God raise students up to make a difference in Ntuzuma!
